Curtin University Graduate Bachelor of Applied science. Currently doing Master of Architecture. I love exploring, spaces, designs, construction methods, methods of driving a house to achieve maximum comfort...While still uni I can keep my momentum of making random designs to see the reactions and criticism I get from it.

Second Year Sem 1

Project
  • 6 Typologies
My Interpretation
  • Create a habitat within 40m2 where the habitation provides sleeping, cooking, eating, and washing spaces.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Courtyard
  • Initially the design was a one level closed loop celebrating the tree within the
courtyard, but I wanted to fully celebrate the growing tree
(I just love ... Cherry Blossoms), therefore I separated the loop and place it
on top of one another. This will allow a full mesmerization of the tree when it
    is mature.

Centric
  • My definition if centric is, an intersection of spaces, sense (sight, sound,
smell, touch, and even taste) and movement.
  • One would enter from the ground floor and rises to the center point of
the dwelling, hence is then able to move to any other point.

Cloister
  • An enclosed space that is excluded from the outside world. A monastery.
A dome which covers the entire structure that only allows light
to enter, and all rooms are visually absent from one another.

Linear
  • A simple straight space with one path which leads the inhabitants from
one part of the room to the other, from public to private.
  • *my favorite typology, which I have improved in third year*

Circulation spine
  • One route which leads different routes where turning and twisting
movements are involved. The walls ans roofs twist and collide forming
    uneven spine surface.

Serial Progression
  • A celebration of the progression of the sun and artificial lighting,
    celebrated through the skin.
  • A Progression of increasing and decreasing in volume.
